About

Installing artificial turf at Allen Wedel Field and replacing turf at Joe W. Goering Field will provide Bethel student-athletes with consistent, high-quality playing surfaces for softball, football, flag football, soccer, and others. Weather-related field conditions currently limit practice opportunities and can lead to schedule changes, cancellations and added maintenance demands. New turf will improve reliability, enhance the student-athlete experience and strengthen two highly visible athletic facilities on campus.

WHY TURF:

Turf will support recruitment and retention by providing dependable, high-quality facilities for Bethel student-athletes. It will allow for more consistent practice and competition scheduling, reduce weather-related disruptions and expand opportunities for year-round use. The upgraded fields will also create additional possibilities for camps, events and community use.

IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT

Your support will help transform both Allen Wedel Field and Joe W. Goering Field with new artificial turf, creating lasting improvements for Bethel Athletics and the broader campus community. A challenge of $350,000 has been provided by a donor. Our goal is $1,750,000 to install turf on both Allen Wedel Field and Joe W. Goering Field.
